My coconut palm has what looks like a fungus on the new growth from the core. The approximately 8 ft. tall tree has been in our yard for 4 months, along with a larger one that is healthy. We have fertilized it and have sprayed the top with an antifungal. It gets watered daily, along with additional summer rains that we have in St. Petersburg. What do we do? The limbs are snapping with the wind. Our recycle water sprinklers occasionally hit the top of both trees, but this one is the only one showing stress.
Here are a couple of links for you. Your palm may be in trouble but with more information you may be able to pinpoint exactly what the issue are.

Bought a tree in a pot; it is about 4' tall. Should I keep it in a pot and how quickly will it grow? Thank you.
Growing a coconut in a pot tends to be a short lived plant.

How much of water required for coconut tree, about 20 yrs old, per day? I have coconut trees for 7 acres. I have now power shortage, so I can't analyze how much water would be required per day for one tree.
Approx 3 gallons a week, but this will vary depending on the size of the tree, soil conditions and humidity.

We have coconut tree in our bunglow. Every year it bears fruits in large qty. These fruits grow up to two inches only and then dry up. Can you please suggest remedy?
This sounds like an issue with pollination. Where is this tree grown - indoors or outside? If inside, you should move it outdoors to make the tree more accessible to pollinating insects and wind, which is its normal means of pollination, or you could try to mimic the wind by placing a small fan nearby (on low setting) to move pollen within the tree. If the tree is grown outdoors, you may need to try hand pollinating. Just use a small paint brush and swirl it around the inside of the flower and repeat on all the flowers on the plant.
What end of the coconut do you plant?
Plant the fresh coconut point side down.

One coconut tree broken and affected by insecticide. Is it possible to treat the tree? Age of the tree 5 years.
This appears to be a case of Thielaviopsis trunk rot which is a lethal fungal disease that causes one-sided trunk rot and the collapse of the trunk or crown.
This disease requires a wound in the soft trunk tissue. There is no treatment for this disease.
Here is a link that explains this disease.
