When our coconut trees were trimmed quite a few coconuts fell into the pond near the building. If they aren't removed from the water will they eventually sink to the bottom? How long does that take? Thank you.

Certified ExpertA.This might take a very long time. They float so that when they get carried away by the current they can rest on the shore at a new location to germinate. I would remove them if you don't want them to grow there.

I have a coconut I purchased. It is fairly good sized and has a smooth,firm shell. The inside can be heard when I shake it. Is this a good candidate for planting and growing?

Certified ExpertA.I like using neem oil for such applications. As long as you use it OUT of direct light, then it doesn't cause any harm.

I have 4 trees of cocoanut.They are now 14 years old. I have not used any fertilizer as yet. The groth is very slow. I see one of the trees there are 15 cocoanuts on the tree.can I use any fertilizer at this stage ? And if so which fertilizer I can use ?And what about other trees ?
