I have had this Camellia for over 5 years, and the same problem has happened each year; The plant looks very healthy most of the year and through out the winter, nice new growth, tons of buds and dark green leaves. But when it comes time to actually bloom (I might get 1 or 2), The leaves start turning yellowish to brownish. The buds start to brown over, never open and fall off. Then come spring it gets back to looking good again. Please help me get my Camellia to bloom. Thanks, Jon
This can have several causes, but usually it is a fertilization issue. Here are some articles that will help you with this issue:

I live where my hydrangea blooms are blue and soil is typically acidic in the Pacific NorthWest. Some yellowing on the edges on older leaves.Do you think the yellowing in this Camelia is because of Iron/Manganese deficiency or a root rot problem.I fertilize with Hollytone once every 6 months. What should I do?
The first thing I suggest is getting a soil sample to see if it's a mineral imbalance as you suggest. You can do that at your local Extension office. If it isn't that it could be root rot or even yellow mottle leaf virus, but that is more a problem on new plantings. Is there good drainage where it is planted? Has there been a lot of rain recently to encourage root rot? Also check for scale insects on stems and leaves.

My double white Camelia flowers turn brown and sometimes drop off partly opened. In past years I have always believed the late winter/early spring rain rotted the petals, but this year we had a long dry sunny few weeks when they were coming into flower. If anything they have been worse this year, with absolutely none of the flowers opening. I do feed the bushes with Eracacious feed on a regular basis. This problem is getting to the point that we are considering chopping the bush down and replacing it with something more reliable. I'm not sure my photos have uploaded properly, I apologise if not.
Insects such as mites, thrips and lacebugs can cause this as well as over or underwatering. These articles should help:

All the new leaves around the old flowers are turning black. Can you help please?
I think this article has the exact info you're seeking:

Only got i Camellia so my feeder would last for years. I just want to use it up
I think it will be fine. Plants like begonias are considered ericaceous so you may have more acid loving plants than you think. The only drawback would be it boosts the elements for acidic soil so it may make your soil less ideal for plants that prefer alkaline soil.

For 3 or 4 years now the flowers on my beautiful double white Camelia have turned brown before they open, then they drop off. The bush looks dreadful while this is happening. I used to think it was frost damage then rain damage, but this year has been sunny and warm and it has still happened (see enclosed photos taken in April). It is getting to the point of digging it out and replacing with something more reliable. I really don't want to do that. I do feed my Camelia, Rhodo and azelias with ericacious liquid fertiliser regularly as our soil is clay and they were originally planted in ericacious compost, so what more can I do, please? I will value your advice. Thanking you in advance. Norma Matthews
It could be due to mites or to under or overwatering. Is your soil acidic? It might be wise to get a soil test and see. You mentioned clay soil and they need well draining soil. So sidedress with some compost or peat moss and lightly work in if the clay soil was not originally amended.

All my camellias, young and old, suddenly developed a light brown along the central vein. Some of them have been in place for decades, and never had this problem. There has been no change to sun exposure. What causes it and how can I fix it please?
Are you fertilizing? If so, they may be overfertilized. If not, scatter some fertilizer for acid loving plants under the shrubs. Here is more help:
