My potted calla lily is wilting and leaves and flowers are drooping and wet down by the soil.

I live in Arizona and have received a purple calla lily plant and all the blooms have fallen off and now the leaves are turning yellow.
If the blooms have simply faded and are now dropping, the plant could be trying to go into dormancy. After blooming, calla lilies need a rest period. Give it time to go dormant and the plant should come back fine after this. Hold back on water do help it enter dormancy.
If the blooms were fine and then suddenly began dropping, this could be due to overwatering, which would also cause the leaf yellowing. Back off on the watering and allow the plant to dry out some before watering again.
I received a calla lily plant for Mother's Day that was almost dead. I planted it and within a few days it had the most beautiful blooms. Within a week or so the blooms closed up and have not opened in about two weeks. I live in climate 6b. It has the morning sun. Is it possible it is not getting enough sun? Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
If the blooms/buds are not opening fully, they likely need more water. Increase your watering. They should be watered at least daily and twice a day if the temps are over 80 F, especially if they're in containers. They do like sun but can tolerate partial shade. You can also add some phosphorus, such as bone meal, to the soil. I have just purchased a calla lily. I was told I could keep it indoors, but it has started to droop already. Please can you advise me what to do.
It may not be getting enough light. They need lots of light. If you can get it more light, do so. You may also be giving it too much water. It needs to be kept moist but should not be in standing water. I have discovered a very invasive root system when taking out some calla lilies and bird of paradise plants. The roots have grown over 10 feet long in places. The roots are "tubular" with a small "string" inside. Some are longer than 10 feet! My question is: Do I have to remove ALL these roots before replanting something else? Will they regrow even at 3 ft. under the soil? I just keep digging and they keep showing up. HELP!
Would you be able to send us a picture? You can send it to the email address that alerts you that we have posted an answer. That will help us in identifying it.
I will get a pic to you ASAP. (As soon as my "tennis elbow" heals from all the digging). Thank you for taking the time to help me!!! Jana
I have it on a covered porch and water it every few days but it is dying. Any suggestions?
There are many things that could be causing this. It could have too little water, too much water, pests, fungus or an environmental issue. I would recommend that you look at the standard care practices for calla lilies and make sure that you are doing them and, as a precaution, you treat the plant with a fungicide and a pesticide.

What is causing my calla lily leaves to turn yellow?
If they are yellowing after blooming, this is natural. They are trying to go dormant. This article will help:
