I need to drape my recently transplanted cactus with a shade cloth ... not sure what to purchase as the material will be touching the cactus. I have multiple varieties including Saguaro, live in Phoenix AZ. Thank you,
It is not advisable to have your shade material actually touching the plants or cactus in your case.

I have a few types of cacti, two of which are turning from green to pale green. they are in clay pots.
This could actually be too much sunlight.
Over watering can also cause a yellowing of your Cactus, and can lead to root rot or fungus.
I don't know how to save my cactus or where to start because there's dark brown spots and a brown mushy tip. Also, some parts are light green than the usual color. What do I do? I don't know what's wrong?
Often by the time the issue is noticed, it is too late.

Hi, I'm growing a cactus from seed, however I'm only a beginner, I heard you can help me which is why I'm writing this, I have planted my cactus seeds in normal compost (without heating it or getting specs up compost to have the soil decontaminated, secondary, I've planted the seeds and put a 0.5cm layer on top, and finally I'm keeping them on my desk which is in my room but not in front of a window. Is this all okay? My other questions were; - how much time do they need to germinate? - how many times should I water the seeds a day? Thanks for the help

Hi, I'm somewhat of a beginner in indoor gardening and have really taken a liking to cacti/succulents. My cactus is growing sooooo many pups and I'm unsure as to what do with it. Obviously i am aware that i can propogate them, but there's so many! Do they all need to come off so that the original plant doesnt suffer? Leaving them on will leave it to crowded surely? Would really appreciate a bit of advice. Thanks :)
