Shade cloth vs shade screen

Question

I need to drape my recently transplanted cactus with a shade cloth … not sure what to purchase as the material will be touching the cactus. I have multiple varieties including Saguaro, live in Phoenix AZ.

It is not advisable to have your shade material actually touching the plants or cactus in your case.
