Where do caterpillars hide? I've only seen one in my garden, but signs say there are more. Should I till around my young bean planta? I think the caterpillars may have come in with the bagged saw dusty mulch I added after the beans were above ground.
The are not in the soil, rather moving around plants eating plants.

From my understanding - if the fruit of the plant shows no blemishes it might be ok to eat, but the quality and flavor would probably be compromised. Hence, destroying the plant is probably your best bet.

My bean had buds some days ago. I found that the buds fell down quickly without blossomed completely. By the way, I gave them fertilizer with high nitrogen. What should I do in this situation?
Bean plants that have too much nitrogen will have trouble creating pods. This will also cause the bean plants to produce fewer blossoms overall as well.

I’ve tried to grow mung beans for sprouts. Not a thing happened. Would appreciate any help. Thanks. Sherry
There are many things that can be the cause. The most common is the soil remaining too wet. They will be prone to rotting like that. The idea is to keep them slightly moist with a slightly dry period in between watering.
