We have been told that we have bean yellow mosaic virus on our Kentucky Wonder climbing beans. Our question is, are the beans edible? thanks in advance, Mike & Liz

Here is a link with information that could be applied to beans:

From my understanding - if the fruit of the plant shows no blemishes it might be ok to eat, but the quality and flavor would probably be compromised. Hence, destroying the plant is probably your best bet.
