    In my experience, eBay is actually a great place to find unusual plants. Just check the feedback on the seller before you buy, but there are many excellent sellers of unusual plants on eBay.

    Many reputable nurseries and garden centers sell these trees/seeds. You can also search online for banyan tree retailers. In my experience, eBay is actually a great place to find unusual plants. Just check the feedback on the seller before you buy, but there are many excellent sellers of unusual plants on eBay.

    Banyan seeds should be harvested from the tree when the seeds are completely dry.
    Plant the seed in a pot of potting soil and plant the seed 2 inches deep. Mist the soil so it is wet but not soaked.
    Check the soil daily.
    In a week or so you should see tiny shoots poking out.
    When the seedling is 3 to 4 inches high it can be planted outdoors.
