will the tree of heaven kill the bamboo ? Thank you.
Since they are, both, quite invasive... I think that they can coexist, peacefully. Just give some space between them. 5 feet, if you can, but they should be able to grow in proximity, with both having invasive properties.
South facing garden in Kent chalky soil want to buy at about 3 to 4 ft
Unfortunately, we do not sell or offer information on where to purchase any products. We only offer free gardening information. I would try your local nurseries, or online nurseries.
What I can do is provide you our collection of articles on bamboo plants:
I want to know what pots are best for my bamboo house plants? I need to repot them.
They need large containers with several drainage holes. The roots grow fast, so it is important to keep upgrading the container to accommodate the roots. The article below recommends a 25- to 30-gallon size such as a wine barrel. Here is more:

I am looking for advice regarding the type of bamboo i have found on an image on your site. It dosent seem to include the name of it. I would be so gratful for any help. Thanks.
I looked at several articles and by clicking on the name under the photo, I was taken to the site where we purchased the photo. None of the ones I checked gave the variety name of the bamboo. You can try that too with the image you liked.
This article gives variety names and you can copy and place them in a search bar to see what they look like and you might find a pleasing variety.

My neighbour over the back fence planted bamboo trees right against the fence and the new shoots are coming in my backyard destroying mygarden totally.
This one will be a question for your local law enforcement or council. Killing plants on your side can be legal, but if that damage makes its way across the property line... It can lead to legal troubles.
It is best to deal with this through the proper channels. Your local government agency, extension service, or agricultural branch will be of better help in this situation.
It does NOT look like bugs of any kind, but the culms are turning white at the bottom. The entire plant is about 6 years old nd 30 ft high. We have had to trim out the smaller culms to keep it from invading the neighbors yeard. We have also put the polypropelene plastic around 3 sides of the patch. The whitening just began but it moves quickly. I am giving it plenty of water, but it appears to be drying up. Is there anything I can do to save it?
Is the whiteness soft/fuzzy or is it coming from the interior of the stalk? If it's black bamboo and it's turning white, it could be that new branches are trying to replace the older ones, and the ones that are turning whitish are ready to be trimmed out.

I have removed bamboo and rhizomes to the best of my ability. A rhizome(s) is still growing under a nearby sidewalk that cannot be removed. What herbicide will kill the little shoots as they emerge at the side of the sidewalk and between the cracks? I've tried vinegar and boiling water to avail. Thanks kindly, Kim
An herbicide with glyphosate should work. You might even go for the brush killer herbicide. Be sure to read and follow all label directions.
