My azaleas seem to bloom off and on all year. This year they do not seem like they have as many leaves. I heard Epsom salt is good to sprinkle around them. Please help me get my azaleas green ago in. Thank you
There are varieties of Azaleas that bloom multiple times a year.
I would inspect your plants for any signs of pests or disease.

After the November to January "cold" period and blooms are set, when do you begin fertilizing?
Fertilize after the blooms have faded.
Here is a link with more information.
Patience is generally the cure for Spider plants, when the pot gets nice and root bound, the babies will grow.
Also make sure you rotate the pot so the sunlight is evenly distributed.
A light feeding of fertilizer will help Spider Plants also. Use a balanced fertilizer at half strength.
Can you take cuttings from Azalea plants and plant them? If so, when and how for South Florida?
Yes, you can, although it works better with evergreen than deciduous azaleas. Here is how to take azalea cuttings:

The best time to take the cuttings is after the spring growth has hardened, which will be around June in Florida:

How do I get my bushes to fully bloom? While they do bloom, it's only very sparsely.
Azaleas certainly will let you know they are not happy.
Check the planting information along with sun and soil conditions with the information in the links below.
A soil test can help you determine if you have a nutrient issue.
Your County Extension Office can help you with a soil and ph test for just a few dollars.

I purchased a small, pink azalea before Valentine's Day. It was in a houseplant type container with pink foil paper. The table had a general sign: Valentine Azalea. Since I haven't been able to find any INFO, I was wondering if here is a species called Valentine Azalea! If not, could I keep it as a houseplant? Should I trim it? Also, could it be planted outside later? I/m in ao0ne 8-B. 'Guess I'll never know the botanical name, which I hate.
No, your plant was most likely just labeled for the holiday.
Indoor Azaleas are a nice addition to add color to your home.
They can bloom for up to 4 to 6 weeks in the right environment.

I live in USDA zone 7a/6b depending on which map you consult. I planted 2 azaleas 2 springs ago. The plants are approximately 16 feet apart, in an area with low sun to dappled sunlight. We mulch yearly with good quality mulch, as well as fertilize, compost and maintain soil acidity. The soil is well drained and the plants have adequate water. The trouble is the bushes have stunted growth and don't bloom. They have dark green healthy leaves and appear to have no discernible problems. What can I do?
This may be a case of excess Nitrogen in the soil. Over fertilizing will lead to green, leafy plants and no flowering.
You can do a soil test to determine if this is the case.
Your County Extension Office will help you with a soil test for a few dollars.
