Is it normal for leaves to turn yellow? If not, what can I do to correct this? Tree is only a year old and in a planter.
Yellow leaves are usually the result of stress. Pinpointing the cause of stress will help you fix the issue. This article should help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/environmental/plant-leaves-turn-yellow.htm
In winter I purchased 2 miniature fruit trees, one being apricot and the other nectarine. I potted them both in a large tub (52 litre) with compost and placed them under the eave of the house in morning sun. It's now just gone spring, and the nectarine tree has blossoms and leaves forming while the apricot developed the makings of 2 buds, but these went brown and nothing has happened since. Could this tree be dead? What has happened?
This article will help determine if the tree is still dormant or dead: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/environmental/how-to-tell-if-a-plant-is-dead-and-how-to-recover-an-almost-dead-plant.htm
My apricot tree's leaves have turned ugly and I'm not sure what to give it. I planted an apricot tree earlier this year, mid spring. It had nice green leaves but over summer and into fall they have become discolored. Have I watered it too much or do I need to feed it something?
What color are the leaves becoming? It may be peach curl, which can affect and stone fruit tree. Here is more information on that:

I have four trees of apricot, one tree of pears and one tree of cherry in the house garden I moved lately to. The fruits die after it is almost grown.
I would need to know more about what time of year this happens and how big the fruit get.
Since it sounds like it is across all of the fruit trees, it sounds like you may have a pollination problem. This would cause the tree to abort the fruit before it is ripe as the seeds are no good. These articles may be helpful:

How can I prevent borers from killing our apricot tree? We have planted three and lost all three to borers. We were told recently to paint the base of tree with lime.
Here is an article for help with peach tree borers, which also affect apricot trees, that you may find helpful: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/peach/peach-tree-borer.htm
Hi, I've had an apricot tree growing for four years now and every year it's loaded with fruit but at about this time of year, the baby fruit starts oozing what appears to be like a clear gelatin.
No bugs are evident anywhere. Within a month the fruits starts rotting and then they fall off. I've brought samples to home depot and they have no clue to what the problem is.
I have photos but there doesn't seem to be a way to post here, so I can email if anyone wants to see.
Any help would be greatly appreciated in identifying how to eradicate this problem.

Sounds like your tree may be infected by peach tree borers. Here is an article that you may find helpful: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/peach/peach-tree-borer.htm
I have 2 apricot trees. They bloom, get fruit, and then the small fruit falls off. How can I get the fruit to stay on the tree and mature? Kate Hamon
This is caused by poor pollination. The blooms don't get pollinated so the tree aborts the fruit while small because they will not produce seeds. The easiest way to correct it is to help make sure that there are plenty of pollinators around when the tree is in bloom. These articles will help:
