none of the fruit was normal
This can be due to irregular watering schedule, poor soil nutrition, or pH that is out of range. You may need to test to soil to see what it is deficient of so that you can correct it. These articles will help:

My Apricot tree is about ten years old in good health started to flower last year in late August and the same this year but lots of flowers this year, is there anything I can do to encourage it to flower earlier, I don’t know the variety of the tree, but the flowers are beautiful. Any help please.
It's likely a pruning issue. If you aren't comfortable pruning the tree, consider hiring a certified arborist. Here are pruning tips:

How invasive is the root system. Does it have a tap root Can I plant small perennials around the tree base?
The apricot tree has a low potential for root damage. Most fruit trees do not have taproots. It's actually best not to plant under a tree because it disturbs the tree's feeder roots, which are close to the top. Mulch is the best thing to put under the tree, out to the canopy line.
Hi, my young apricot tree dropped all it's leaves on one of only 2 branches after flowering.I wonder why this has happened?
Most commonly, this will be caused by Phytopthora rot. This article will help:

I LIVE IN PASADENA CA MY APRICOT TRE BLOOMED EARLY DUE TO HEATWAVE THE IT RAINED HEAVY AND THE TWO WEEK COLD SPELL IE 50 DEGREES NO MORE FLOWERS WILL I GET FRUIT
Not likely. It is worth noting that you are well outside of the hardiness zone for the tree. Some are marketed to warm climate areas, but these can be difficult to find. Because of the chilling hours required, it is likely that your area will not fruit well, if at all. If anything disturbs bloom drop for the year, then it is not likely to fruit.

Branches are surplus to requirements on a prolific bush and obstructing a path
Generally the best time will be right as the tree is breaking dormancy for the year!

The pic is from an apricot tree...The nectarines look the same...all trees are about a year and a half old. I live in SW Arkansas so LOTS of humidity and disease and pest pressure. I started off this year (early spring) using neem oil when all things looked great. Started seeing a bit of yellow and switched to copper fungicide every 2 weeks which hasn't helped. HELP ME!!
It looks like shot-hole disease, which is common in apricot and nectarine trees. It is easier to prevent than cure, but here are things you can do:
