Q.Swiss Cheese Plant

Anonymous added on June 1, 2011 | Answered

I have a cut off of my sister’s Swiss cheese plant. This is my second one. The first one didn’t make it, so I am giving it another shot. I have 2 stems, dipped in rooting horomone, in soil for about a week now. It is concerning me because it seems to be losing its stiffness, for lack of a better word. Should I be doing something different? I don’t want to lose this one. I also have a knack for keeping an African violet alive, but it never ever flowers except for when I bought it. I love violets; I just can never get them to bloom. What am I doing wrong?
