Q.pruning a hibiscus
When can you prune a hibiscus that is indoors? I have a tree and a potted plant and they both have gotten straggly and do not look right!

Are these plants that live indoors all the time? If so, light pruning can be undertaken at any time. However, for major pruning, it's alway best to wait till spring. You didn't say what kind your potted plant is, so I can't give you any specifics, but the basic pruning approach is the same for most all plants.
