Q.Please Can You Help Us Identify A Tree In Our Backyard
We moved to a new home with an existing tree we cannot identify. The tree is 49 feet tall and might be around 30 years old. Leaves are very similar to poplar but the margin is smooth. Wood seems softer and quite fast growing – we think it is not hardwood. Leaves: broadleaved, simple, without thorns or spines, leaves alternate. The tree is deciduous and has no fruit or legumes. The leaves turn beautiful red in the fall when they start falling off. Thank you very much in advance, Ivona

This one will be hard to place, unfortunately. I am leaning towards the tree being a part of the genus, Ficus.
