Petunia Plants

This summer all my petunias got white and green bugs on them. I bought a commercial spray to get rid of the bugs and it took the color out/off the petunias. What can I do, as I love petunias in the summer?

We recommend neem oil. We like it as a pesticide because it is safe for humans and pets and is very effective against damaging bugs, but does not hurt helpful bugs like bees and butterflies. You can learn more about it here:
