Q.Ordering Peonies Online
Would you recommend ordering peonies online on shops like https://dutch-bulbs.com ?

Certified GKH Gardening Expert
We don't recommend plant vendors but I would be more inclined to order from a vendor who specializes in perennials than bulbs. Bulb companies specialize in tulips, daffodils, and other true bulbs and also sell some perennials.
If I haven't ordered from them before, I check their refund policy, how long they have been in business, reviews, the size of the plants (sometimes they show a full grown flowering plant in the photo but you get a very young plant that won't even flower the first year).
In the case of dutch-bulbs.com they will send you a peony root to plant.
Have you checked with friends or family to see if they have ordered from this site? (I personally have not.)
Have you checked plant nurseries and garden centers near you in spring? They usually sell peonies in pots ready to bloom.

Thank you Susan,
Online stores like https"//dutch-bulbs.com usually offer more varieties and cheaper prices. I think planting peony roots in autumn is better than potted plants in spring.
