On Kauai A Flowering Tree That Is Attractive Year Round That Thrives In A Container

On kauai there are many beautiful flowering trees. We would like to have one in a pot. I need one that doesn’t take years to flower. I was admiring the rainbow shower tree but saw on your blog it can take years to bloom. I don’t care if the flowers are messy.

They will only take that long if you plant the tree from seed. If you were to plant, or purchase a mature tree then you could see flowers within the first year!

With that being said, you have a lot of options available to you in your zone, which is zone 11. trees for tropical and subtropical areas will, usually, be grouped together into trees that are suitable for zones 9, 10, and 11.
