Q.My Tree Is Losing Its Bark & Some Branches Are Lower Branches Are Dying. Some Upper Branch Endings Are Leafless.
The tree is 3metres away from a fence & 3 metres away from neighbouring trees except 1 side an established shrub is closer. This part of the garden is usually a moisture area but tree is stressed due to lack of water.

Unfortunately, your photos did not come through. This sounds more like an infection than dry related. Typically, moist areas are prone to infection, and any change in environment can trigger the infection to progress, faster.
Without knowing much about the tree in question, or having a photo of the area, it will be very hard to say what is going on. It does sound a bit like Verticillium Wilt, though. It can appear quite suddenly, or it can take awhile.
