My Hibiscus Is Losing Leaves and They Are Yellowing

AlanBeachNelson added on June 16, 2012 | Answered

I bought a beautiful Hibiscus that was pretty full with flowers and leaves. It is planted in a cedar planter box. Leaves are now turning yellow, and the foliage is diminishing - looking sparse. Flowers are also a bit pale when they were vibrant pink. What might I be doing wrong? I live in San Francisco in a sunny part of the city. It gets full sun, temps are typically in the high 60s, low 70s.
