Q.cutting back hosta
If I cut back my Hosta will it come back next year? My Hosta is looking beautiful at the moment but there is a wall behind it which has collapsed. To enable this to be rebuilt, I am going to have to cut the Hosta back. Will this kill it or will it grow back next year?

Yes, I would go ahead and trim it back to make the repairs necessary for you garden. Your plant should be just fine and return for another season.
