I Need A Tall Busy Plant Or Tree To Screen Against My Neighbours.

Question

My next door neighbour plays football with his young son in his garden for an hour every morning and afternoon. They are noisy and the ball frequently comes over the fence into my small patio garden. I’ve asked them to put up a net but they haven’t and so I’m looking to screen and to help protect myself from being hit by the ball. Can you recommend a tall, bushy plant or tree that would be happy in a large container in a shady spot.It needs to be at least 3m tall and would have to go into a container on my patio.

Some evergreens such as boxwood can be very slow growing and wouldn't make a screen quickly.
