I have got an area in my garden which has lovely poppies.
They only last for a short time – can I plant geraniums in the same place?

They can be planted in the same area. They do not offer any benefit to each other, but they will not harm each other either. This will be fine to do.

Here is an article that will help you with the care of Geraniums: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/geranium/geranium-care.htm
