Q.How Would One Know When To Take Cuttings From Different Plants

I am looking to take cuttings from Tea Tree, Hebe, Witch Hazel, Myrtle and Currants

You can root cuttings any time, but the best time to take them from the parent plant is during a plant's active growth period. Here's an informative article:
