Q.How to winterize a Inferno Coleus
It has been on the porch in a pot. Can I cut it back and put it in the ground for the winter?

Coleus is grown as an annual in northern US. It will not survive winter outdoors. Consider trimming it (and taking cuttings to start new plants) and keeping it as a houseplant over winter. It is also easy to grow from seed but start 12 weeks before your frost-free date in spring. If you like coleus, enjoy browsing online seed catalogues. It comes in a large array of colors and leaf variations.
