How Much Moisture

Question

I would like to to start an aeroponic herb garden and was wondering if the misters stay on for 24hrs, or is there a timed schedule for the sprayers to be on and off? Is there a minute/hour time cycle, or do they stay off while the plants are in their night cycle (lights on- sprayers on, lights off-sprayers off)?

I have never worked with an aeroponic system myself but I did find a site that may be helpful in all areas of aeroponic growing.
