Q.hibiscus leaves are starting to turn yellow ,Why?

Zone 5 | ernie added on June 11, 2012 | Answered

The leaves on the Hibiscus plant are turning yellow , not all of them just a few, we have been giving it water fairly regularly as it has been really dry here in eastern Kansas. This plant was a mothersday gift to the wife she put it in a bigger pot , has had a couple of flowers , put this down as it being a young plant but maybe it is something else more info may be needed to keep it going.

Hello there My name is juls I live in colorado.
I am not sure but i think your problem might be ,you need to plant your hybiscus in the ground. In a morning sun and afternoon shade. they are sensitive to direct intense heat. Or, If not possible transplant into a bigger pot. They need a high potassium fertilizer as well..I hope I can help save your hybiscus. Good luck
