Hedging Plants

Question

We have lost a few shrubs from our privet hedge. This is. It the first time. The hedge is 5 foot tall. We are looking to replace the dead shrubs with other varieties of shrub. We have a photo of the one we are considering but don’t know the name of the shrub. Can you help identify it and do you think it would work.
