Hosta Plant

Garlic Capsules

Would I be able to place garlic capsules in some of my plant pots? In the summer snails eat my hosta plants. I understand garlic would be a deterrent? Kind Regards

The best thing would be to mix the capsule into warm water and either water or spray the plant with it. It does make a good deterrent, but while you are at it, you might even put a little rosemary oil in with it.
