Q.Front Yard Design Help

Zone 7b | Anonymous added on April 29, 2021 | Answered

We are trying to replace everything that the builder put in the front yard. Front yard gets full sun to partial shade. Attached is a current photo and a photo of a possible design. We are looking for lower maintenance and want a sophisticated, more traditional look. Choices are Wintergreen Boxwoods, Crimson Fire Loropetalums, Apricot Drift Roses, Beyond Blue Festuca and then Blue Point Juniper with Radiance Abellia around it. Do these choices work well together? Are there better choices/replacement suggestions for anything? Anything to be aware of with any of these? Thanks!

That is beautiful. The only think I might tweak is the same round shape repeated too many times. Everything looks round. Add some softness with natural shapes, too.
