Q.Elephant ear

You said, if the flowers are pollinated, tiny “berries” will form along the spadix. Save them to plant outdoors in spring. My plant is about three years old. The berries are red, about the size of a big pea, and I want to know if the flower has a soft perfume smell.

I am not sure about the scent of the flower. Yes, those red berries contain the seeds. Once the berries are mature, it is best to actually plant the seeds indoors right away instead of waiting till spring. Once the seeds are removed from the berries, they die quickly, so the best method is to take the seeds directly out of the berries, rinse them, and plant them.
