Q.Dogwood Tree

Anonymous added on April 2, 2014 | Answered

I have a Dogwood tree which is about 3 years old that has never flowered. I was told that it has to be “beaten” to make it flower. Seems a bit bizarre to me, true or false?

I don't know about beating the tree, but this article should provide some clues as to why it's not blooming: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/dogwood/dogwood-tree-not-flowering.htm
