Q.Do The Tan Spots On My Japanese Dwarf Red Maple Need Remediation?
The tree has been in this location for about 9 years, and has not been drip irrigated this season because of the frequency of natural rain. I fertilize with Osmocote in the fall.

That looks more like scorched leaves than a fungal infection. Is it getting more sun than usual? If so, water it more often. If it is fungal, just be sure to clean up any fallen leaves so it doesn't reoccur next year. Here is more:
