Crape Myrtle Trees

Crape Myrtle

Anonymous added on May 14, 2014 | Answered

I have mature crape myrtles that have done very well for years. But this year they are peeling bark at the base of the trunk. I don't recall this before, and beneath what's peeled is moist. I've hired a company to mow and spray for the first time ever, and am worried they might have sprayed something to cause this.
