Q.Cleaning Cuttings
With what can I (just a domestic gardener) clean pests from plant cuttings with an immersion dip.I think I saw that alcohol can be used but cant verify that. Fuchsia leaf gall mite is an especial problem Regards

Cuttings should be taken from healthy plants. If they have a pest or disease issue, that should be cleared up first. Dipping them in alcohol could kill the cuttings.
