For the gall mites, a miticide is appropriate. The article below explains how to treat a plant infested with fuchsia leaf gall mite. It also suggests replacing your stock with resistant varieties.

Cuttings should be taken from healthy plants. If they have a pest or disease issue, that should be cleared up first. Dipping them in alcohol could kill the cuttings.
