Q.Chocolate Plant

Zone Danvers, MA 01923 | Anonymous added on September 25, 2018 | Answered

I have a very bushy plant with dark brown leaves and feathery white flowers that blooms in late summer through the fall. I had always thought it was called a chocolate plant, but after looking up the words “chocolate plant” they did not look like my bush. It spreads easily.

I would appreciate any help. Entering a Garden Club competition tonight and I guess I won”t be able to enter it unless I can find someone who knows what it is.

Is it the Joe Pye weed (Eupatorium) cultivar "Chocolate"?
