Q.Care Of A Cheese Plant Outdoors

I have been given a cheese plant in a pot for outdoors. I notice the leaves are turning very pale and yellow. Am I treating it wrong?

Was it outside to begin with? If not, it may be getting too much sun too soon. Plants need to be gradually accustomed to the bright light outside. And Swiss cheese plant should be in bright light, but not full sun.

If your area gets near freezing, be sure to protect the plant or bring it indoors.
