Cant Find Any One Who Knows What This. Can You?

Question

Four year old dwarf nectarine tree. Every year, the fruit gets brownish scarring appearance on skin only. Starts right after bud fall and fruit is about the size of a marble, and grows larger as the fruit gets larger. Doesn’t seem to hurt the fruit inside. Fresno Calif area. Took to Ag ext and Master gardner. they just wanted the fruit, no help. Hope someone can identify this problem. Thanks Steve R [e-mail]
