Q.Can New Bleeding Heart Sprouts Recover?
I recently bought some bleeding hearts bare root tubers. Against my intentions I waiting a couple days to get them in the ground. The roots look fine but the new growth looks a little sad. Have I ruined my chances of getting flowers this year? (I know sometimes it takes a year for them to establish but I hoped getting established roots might give me a chance.)

It looks a little tired, but it also looks like it will recover just fine. Just give it proper care. This article will help:
