Q.avocado tree

Anonymous added on June 30, 2015 | Answered

The leaves are turning brown color. They did this last year. Is it the heat or is it lacking a mineral? Can I give it a certain nutrient?

If it's been really hot, then it could be associated with heat or drought stress. I would up the watering for your tree during hot, dry days to avoid any issues. As for a possible nutrient deficiency, I would have the soil tested. There are several possibilities and the only way to know which nutrient may be lacking is to do a soil test.
