Q.Are The Leaves Of The Red Cabbage Plant Edible?

Zone KT234BS | Anonymous added on July 3, 2021 | Answered

Hi I am new to vegetable gardening. I have some red cabbages growing nicely in some big containers. Some of the leaves are smothering other veg. If I were to prune a few of the leaves, can I cook and eat them while they are looking so tender, rather than composting them, as I would say with broccoli? Are they edible? Thanks
