I'm growing a lemon tree from seed as per your instructions. It is still quite small, a few inches tall, with a few leaves (though it does have a root system going). I recently put it into a larger pot and added some organic fertilizer/food to it to help with growth. Now that it's summer, I do keep the tree outside for warmth and sunlight. This morning I noticed about 5-6 white larvae crawling around in the soil. I believe they are root weevil larvae. How do I get rid of them? Why are they there? How do I prevent them from coming back? Would beneficial nematodes work? Do I need to replant? Should I bring it inside? Please help!
I would not bring the pot indoors until you have resolved the issue.
I would carefully lift the seedling and replace the soil with good clean potting mix. Discard of the old soil.
Treat the plant with Neem Oil.

Neither Home Depot, where I bought it, nor any local nursery can assist me. A cousin suggested it might be a Pomelo. It is not sweet and not very moist inside even though during the summer we have been watering it twice a day early morning and late evening. It is very hot and dry here. It took 8 years before it bore any fruit and they stay green on the outside. The tree is covered with thorns. Can you help?

I have a lemon tree with many lemons, but they are all still green. Should I be doing something? I bought some fertilizer today.

Can I take new growth at the base of a young lemon tree and start a new tree? How do you do this? I purchased a lemon tree this yr. I planted it in the ground and it seems to be doing well, approx 3' high. There is new growth at the base of the tree...2 new sprouts. I would like to cut this new growth off and start 2 more trees. How do I do this correctly? Thank you.
Your tree is likely grafted. The suckers that grow from the base are likely coming from the root stock.
This root stock is citrus but you will not be able to determine what kind of citrus.
Whether you try to root these or not, remove them quickly from the base of the tree.

Why does the peel of lemons show rough bumpy skin? I know botrytis can be a reason but are there any other reasons? How can I grow lemons with a smoother skin?
The bumpy skin is most likely due to environmental influences. Atypical weather is the most common cause.
Why are the leaves on my pot lemon tree dropping off? The tree is only 1 year old.

The lemon tree is 3 to 4 years old and has grown to a height of 4 feet. It is flowering well but there is no setting and the flowers fall off. Please advise as what needs to be done. In the secound case, the tree is 4 to 5 years old and growing well but does not flower. Please note that in India we do not get ready made mix fertilisers and have to get the chemicals separately.
When you get blossoms but no fruit, or when blossoms drop, this is normally an indication of poor pollination. If there are not enough natural pollinators around or if it's grown indoors, the tree will have difficulty producing. This is why we sometimes have to intervene by hand pollinating. Just use a small paint brush and swirl it around the inside of the flower and repeat on all the flowers on the plant.
You can encourage additional pollinators to the area for outdoor trees. Here is more information on that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/teak/insect-pollination-process.htm

For non-blooming issues, you may simply need to give the tree a high phosphorus fertilizer or add bone meal to the soil to encourage blooming.
