Zucchini and Cucumber

Question

I am a first time gardener. My zucchini plants have beautiful big leaves and lots of blossoms, but the zucchini stop growing after getting 3 inches long and there are white spots all over the leaves. My cucumber plants have lots of blossoms too, but again white spots are starting to cover the leaves. Please help!!
