Q.Zoysia in sunny but damp areas
I live in SE Pennsylvania. We have a area that is almost always damp and appears to drain more slowly than the rest of the lawn, may be a low spot. We have zoysia grass spreading on all of the lawn but here. Will zoysia do well in damp or slow draining areas?

Zoyzia grass actually doesn't like wet conditions, so that may be the problem. So, you could either try to correct the wet conditions/poor drainage, or plant a garden of moisture-loving plants in that spot. These articles will give you some ideas:
