Q.Zoysia Grass

Anonymous added on October 25, 2014 | Answered

Does Zoysia Grass continue to grow after a hard freeze? Our golf course has mowed our fairways real short and we just had a hard freeze and frost. I’m concerned that we will not get any more growth and our fairways could be in trouble.

Zoysia is a warm season grass, so it should be going dormant with the onset of cold or freezing temps anyway. Once the temps warm back up in spring, the zoysia should green back up again.
