Zebra Plant Tall With 5 Leaves On Top And Empty Stem.

Question

The zebra plant leaves kept falling, I was over watering last year so for 8-10 months now I’ve only been watering when needed, but I only have 5 leaves on top, new ones do come out but old ones fall and there is at least 10 inches of empty stem before the leaves start at the top!

There are several reasons this can happen. Read this article to learn about them. You may be able to just pinch off new growth at the top to force it to bush out a bit.
