Yellowing and Dropping Fig Leaves

Question

I planted a new fig tree from a propagated 6 inch x 1/4 inch branch in the spring. It has grown greatly to about 3 plus feet. But now my leaves are turning yellow and starting to fall off. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
