Q.yellow sedum

Zone 60451 | Anonymous added on June 10, 2019 | Answered

We just planted yellow sedum plants. They were looking good and then a few days later, on Friday, the scheduled service came to mow the lawn and to our dismay, weed wacked all of the yellow sedum. I’m not familiar with these plants, will they grow back or are they destroyed? It’s Sunday and before I call the company, I thought I’d ask here, to see if it’s not big deal and they’ll grow back or if it’s worth a phone call to them.

Sincerely,

Lorelei Vogelmann

If the Sedums were newly planted; they may not have had enough time to root into the ground.

All you can do is wait and see if they grow back.
Sedum are generally pretty easy to grow and hardy once established.
